Now is the time to reach the men in your community!
The DADCAMP Experience
There are 3 versions of DADCAMP - Weekend, Full Day, & Half Day. The information to follow is designed to help you understand the different needs and expectations to host and launch a DADCAMP experience in your community.
Who attends DADCAMP?
DADCAMP is for Fathers or Father figures (Grandpa, Uncle, Mentor etc.) and their children (1-3 children per event but from experience bringing 1 child is the best.)
Children cannot attend alone. DADCAMP is not a youth event. DADCAMP is designed for Dads. Dads bring their kids.
DADCAMP Elementary (Grades 1-5): Father Son or Father Daughter
DADCAMP Middle School (Grades 6-8): Options include Co-Ed / Son / Daughter
DADCAMP High School (Grades 9-12): Options include Co-Ed / Son / Daughter
DADCAMP Old School: Father Son only (Fathers & sons from college to seniors)
You help us find an audience
We need a minimum of 16 Dads plus their children to make DADCAMP happen. Our target is usually 48 Dads plus their kids.
DADCAMP will provide marketing/promotional materials to help you find your Dads.
You help us find a facility
Lodging/Camping Area & Teaching Space to accommodate 32 or more guests
Optimal DADCAMP sized event is 60-100 guests (Minimum 16 Dads plus children / Maximum depends on facility capabilities
Teaching Space with Video Screens to allow for media such as video/pictures etc. is preferred if possible.
Outdoor/indoor recreational areas for games and children’s activities
Dining area. Big Question: does facility provide meals? If not, we would ask for you to put a meal plan and team into play.
Activity leaders for kid’s breakout sessions. If host facility does not provide these, we would ask for you to recruit 2-4 volunteers to help our team.
You help us find a Worship Leader(s) for the weekend. (optional but recommended)
What DADCAMP provides:
All programming
Team of 3 including communicator/director, kid’s breakout leader, event manager
Content, curriculum, supplies
Will guide your guests from start to finish.
Event registration
Online registration through our website
Marketing assistance to help you promote
Videos, brochures, emails etc.
Bottom line: You find a facility and help us get an audience. We pretty much do the rest.
